Dr. Bradley Bertram Appointed to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers

In February, 2004, Dr. Bradley Bertram was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. The Board consists of twelve physicians that serve three year terms and attend quarterly meetings.

Dr. Allan Stocks attended the Staar Surgical Visian™ ICL (Intraocular Contact Lens) Mini Fellowship in June, 2004 for training in a new procedure for the correction of nearsightedness. FDA approval of the lens is pending at this time.

Dr. Bradley Bertram attended the Advanced Medical Optics, Verisyse™ Training Course in September 2004 to receive training in the use of their new Verisyse™ Implantable Contact Lens which will be used for the correction of nearsightedness. The lens received FDA approval in September.
